Extended Abstracts

Submissions for technical papers must describe original research, not published or currently under review for other workshops, conferences, journals, or magazines.
Position papers with 2-page extended abstracts (in standard ACM conference format) can be submitted for, e.g., interesting intermediate results of undergoing research, promising progresses, educational overview on the state of the art in this field, and insightful analysis of the historical or futuristic developments on various topics.

Paper submission formats for WUWNet must follow the ACM standard for SIG proceedings. A summary of the required format is: double column, Times Roman font for the paper body, 9 point font size or larger for body text, U.S. letter size paper (8.5"x11") with 1" margins on all sides and a 1/3" gutter between columns. Lines should be spaced with 11 points or more from baseline-to-baseline. All accepted papers and extended abstracts are subject to the deadlines specified below and will be included in the conference proceedings.

Extended abstracts

Extended abstract submission: September 10th, 2014
Acceptance notification: September 24th, 2014 
Camera-ready date: October 10th, 2014

The accepted two-page extended abstracts will be included in the meeting proceeding and ACM online library, as the Full/Short Papers. In addition, the authors of the extended abstracts will have two opportunities for presentations: a) Five-minute oral presentation and b) Posters display through the entire conference.  Please check http://wuwnet.acm.org/2014/program for your presentation time slot.

Both extended abstracts and Work-in-progress (WIP) posters require the authors to show their posters throughout the conference. Posters will be posted on the walls. We will also provide 40” x 60” foam boards and accessories. You are free to use different poster sizes, such as 36” x 48”, 36” x 56”, and 40” x 60”.
